This wilderness inspired face oil is made from harvesting rosehips and infusing them into a base of cold-pressed organic sweet almond oil. Rosehip Oil is excellent at both hydrating and moisturizing dry, winter time, or aging skin. Also great for nails, hair, and as a beard oil.

Fifteen percent of all sales of our Rosehip Face Oil will be donated to O:se Kenhionhata:tie Land Back Camp located in Waterloo, Ontario.

Ingredients:
wild foraged Rosa canina (Dog Rose) hips, organic cold-pressed Prunus amygdalus dulcis (sweet almond) oil, d-alpha-tocopherol (vitamin-E) oil

Benefits:
Rosehips contains a wealth of essential fatty acids, including linoleic and linolenic acid which make this oil an excellent option for hydrating dry, itchy skin, or winter moisturizing. Rosehip oil also has high amounts of Vitamins A and C which are ideal for aging, and dull skin. Vitamin A (aka retinol) encourages skin cell turnover. Vitamin C also aids in cell regeneration, boosting overall radiance.

Rosehips are rich in both polyphenols and anthocyanin, which may help reduce inflammation. They also contains vitamin-E, an antioxidant known for its anti-inflammatory effects. With this in mind, rosehip oil may help calm irritation resulting from various skin conditions including rosacea, psoriasis, eczema, and dermatitis.

Directions:
Massage 2-3 drops onto cleansed, damp skin. Allow oil to fully absorb before dressing. To help extend shelf life, store in a cool, dry place, such as your refrigerator. As with any new product please test a small patch of skin first to rule out any allergies. Topical use only.

Caution:
Please note, I recommend transmasculine and non-binary customers’ with acne from testosterone hormone replacement treatment (HRT) approach Rosehip Face Oil or any moisturizing oil with caution. During my own “second” puberty I found oil moisturizers, regardless of ingredients, aggravated my existing acne. The problem stopped when I switched to a cream moisturizer. In the near future Apothecary Bois will offer a wider range skincare products.
