A Journey Through Your Forest is a nod to Emily Carr's "Forest" painting. As a tribute to this iconic artist and Federation member, I selected the color palette from the "Forest" painting to create an abstract that shows my journey looking at her inspiring work. Forest also symbolizes journeys as they represent the cycle of life, from birth, to death to being reborn again.
