HEALTH AND SAFETY FOR COVID-19

Our staff have been monitoring provincial and city regulations, and have used this information to create a Covid Safety Package. The key protocols encompassed in our Covid Safety Package are as follows.

As of September 2022, patrons may or may not be required to show proof of full vaccination upon entry to the building, dependent on the nature of the event. 

Our top priority in continuing these measures is the safety of our audiences, artists, and staff members. 


PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE)

Flamingo Market Specific - Masks encouraged when not eating or drinking inside market, Masks mandatory in main shared public spaces (lobby/entrance, bathroom, etc)

Patrons can now enjoy a beverage while visiting the bar in the cabaret space. Masks must be worn when not actively drinking.
Plexiglass barriers have always existed in our Box Office, separating staff from patrons, and we have installed additional plexiglass at the Bar. 


REGULAR SANITIZATION OF SURFACES

The supervising staff member of any event will arrive 30 minutes prior to the artists and/or in order to:

  • sanitize handles and prop open any doors that will be used over the course of the rehearsal/event
  • sanitize dressing room(s) chairs, desktops, and high-touch surfaces (light switches, door handles, etc)
  • sanitize the dressing room(s) bathroom(s)
  • sanitize the universal bathroom
  • sanitize any props and technical equipment being used (ie. tables, microphones, lighting console, etc)
  • check to make sure all incoming artists have filled out their Screening Forms for the day



COVID SAFETY PACKAGE AND SCREENING FORM

All visitors entering the space are required to fill out a COVID Screening Formeach daythey intend to enter the space, prior to entering the space. These forms are also to be filled out by the supervising staff member, who will monitor the information provided on the waiver.


If anyone refuses to fill out a waiver, is experiencing symptoms, or has had possible contact with the Covid-19 virus, they will not be permitted to enter the space and may contact the Joint Health & Safety Committee with any questions (jhsc@buddiesinbadtimes.com).

If any visitor discovers that they were infected in/around their time in the space, they are required to report this information to the Joint Health & Safety Committee (jhsc@buddiesinbadtimes.com).
