Found Pieces is a poetry book that explores coming of age, grief, identity, and the harsh truths of adulthood. The fifty-poem collection is separated by two ‘chapters’ What Was Left and What Was Found. Focusing on the low points of life where depression and anxiety take over and the moments of triumph where love overcomes those obstacles. How relationships are tested and impacted when it comes to questions of identity. The whirlwind of finding oneself through exploring and understanding ones sexuality. Ultimately learning to come to terms with the different pieces of identity that make each of us beautiful. Ultimately where that power and acceptance may take us. *Trigger Warning: this work covers topics of depression and anxiety. It also has discussions of coming out , which may be a triggering topic to some folks.
